A unique equestrian painting by British artist, Janette Lockett ASEA.

"This beautiful animal is the idyllic and utopic dream of freedom, unobtainable in the real world, yet which is expressed by the artist through her unique method of painting....Janette's horses do not have riders, but they are by no means static. The author captures with great ease the agility and elegance of her subject matter in movement, whether it be a horse rearing or a herd galloping, always with their manes and tails flying freely through the air, giving the painting a dynamic vitality that brings the horses to life."

Janette Lockett was born in Yorkshire, England in 1963. Her passion for horses developed as a young child. Having found the perfect setting in Andalusia, Spain, for her creative talent, she began her career as a self-taught artist and has had much success with her work. Janette works with pastels applying colour and form to a white art board. Janette Lockett is an associate member of the Society of Equestrian Artists UK. Janette has held exhibitions of her art work in Spain, England and Switzerland, and her paintings have sold internationally. Buyers of her paintings include leading art collectors and royalty.
